About Me!

My name is Bobby Liga and I’m a junior broadcast journalism major with a minor in Spanish at Hofstra University. I have experience with Avid linear editing and HVC camera’s. I am a part of the Hofstra cheerleading team at who has won seven national titles. Fluent in Spanish, I hope to study journalism abroad in a different Spanish speaking countries. In the summer of 2011, I studied Spanish culture and language at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. My hobbies are singing, playing the piano and guitar, and acting on film. In the summer of 2008, I attended the New York Film Academy in Tribeca New York to perfect my acting on film skills. In the fall of 2011, I posted two videos on the Long Island report which reflected my skills in multimedia video journalism.
